When I started running in 2005, I never imagined it would change my life—or lead me to build a brand. My background was organized sports, where running was something you did as punishment, not passion. But training for my first half marathon at Disney World in 2006 shifted everything. I fell in love with the sport, the community, and the challenge.

What I didn't fall in love with was the gear. At every race expo, I'd search for running shirts that actually fit my body and made me feel good. What I found instead: men's cuts, cheap polyester, and a one-size-fits-most mentality that didn't account for the diversity of women runners. I'd spend hours trying things on, only to leave empty-handed or settle for something that didn't feel right.

That gap frustrated me. And it inspired me. I realized there was a real opportunity to build something different—apparel designed for women runners by someone who actually understood what we needed. High-quality, soft fabrics. Fits for all body types. Design that made you feel strong and confident, not like you were wearing a tent or a compression suit.

But quality alone wasn't enough. From day one, I was committed to doing this the right way. That meant ethical manufacturing, zero-waste production, and partnering with suppliers who share our values.
